| I was doing a little research on graphics engines that work in c++, and then it hit me. We should use the OGRE engine! It's free, it works really well, and it was designed in the compiler that I am using: Visual C++ Express Edition! That kicks ass, man! (Alex, it is linux compatible too!) | |

| I'll look it up. If it's linux compatible, then I'm in luck! Sounds like a great engine! | |

| Quick question about the linux version, although I'm not sure if you'll know: I think I should download the SDK, as opposed to the Source package, but I'm not sure. Ubuntu is a little different form other Linux distos as far as installing programs. Usually there's a .deb file for installing program package to Ubuntu, but I'm not sure if the SDK is that file or not. | |

| uhhhh . . . no idea. Sorry.
I don\'t think we really need to worry about this one right now. I tried to use it and it didn\'t really work as well as I thought it would.

| Another thing, we should probably wait a bit before we actually start using the graphics engines. I think there might be something more suited to our needs, so we should wait until we know exactly what we are going to do before we worry about graphics. | |

| OK. I was going to download it just to see how it worked, but I wasn't going to make a final decision yet. | |
